Your first stop will be Palms Court Gardens with its amazing views of downtown Basseterre, Bird Rock to the East and the majestic sister isle of Nevis with its cloud-wreathed mountain rising from encircling slopes ringed about by the sea. Enjoy the palpably luxuriant atmosphere, the intoxicating sunlight and sea air whilst capturing these poetic moments on camera. Tour the shell studio and perhaps shop for unique crafted shell art souvenirs. Venture to the heart of the Kittitian countryside passing along the way the egrets nesting grounds; Challengers - the first free village; past sugar estates; Bloody Point River – where over 2000 native Carib Indians were massacred in 1626 by the British and French; historic Old Road Town; Middle Island – the resting place of Sir Thomas Warner 1648, the first Governor of St. Kitts and then onto Brimstone Hill Fortress. From the very top of the Fort you will enjoy, immensely, the beauty of the island’s highlands which features spectacular views of verdant rainforest volcanic mountain ranges, lush gullies, colourful coastal villages and the neighbouring Dutch islands of St. Eustatius and Saba. Depart Brimstone Hill for your scenic drive to Frigate Bay, locally known as the Beverly Hills of St. Kitts where photo opportunities abound as you step out at Timothy Hill and ‘’be blown away’’ by the breathtaking encompassing beauty of this charmed Look Out.
Your hilltop peninsula drive takes you to the Carambola Beach Club, a perfect place to enjoy a Caribbean culinary experience on a beach front. Celebrate your time in paradise on a tropical beach of sparkling sand and turquoise waters. Your awesome excursion concludes with a short picturesque drive back to the port. Please Note: The tour of the island is approximately 3 hours with unlimited time at the beach after making arrangements with your driver/guide to return and collect you at the agreed upon time. Palms Court Gardens is not open on Sunday or on the following holidays: Apr 6, Apr 9, May 3, May 28, Aug 7, Sept 17, Sept 19, Dec 25 and Dec 26.
