First you'll be driven to Las Escobas Springs natural reserve, a protected area within the Cerro San Gil Nature Reserve.
Upon your arrival, you'll begin walking a trail through the humid tropical forest ecosystem.
Once at the springs, you'll have the opportunity to swim in the fresh crystal-clear waters for approximately fifteen minutes.
Afterwards, you will visit Las Escobas community, where everyone will get the chance to participate in a tortilla making lesson before returning to the ship.

Since you are going to hike inside a tropical rain forest, there is chance of encountering mosquitoes and other insects so you will probably want to bring along insect repellant. It is recommended you wear long sleeve shirts, long pants, and comfortable walking or hiking shoes and avoid the use of sandals or flip flops. You may also want to wear a swim suit. Some sections of the trail are steep and the terrain is uneven. Rustic handrails are available. No certified lifeguard is available at the spring's perimeter. This tour will be operated even under rainy conditions. The tour operator reserves the right to cancel the motorboat part of the trip and operate the tour only by land, due to inclement weather conditions.
