Enjoy the tranquil Jamaican countryside as you travel to a quaint little village tucked away in the beautiful mountains of St. Ann, where the legendary "King of Reggae"was born on February 6, 1945.
A place Bob Marley called home. He returned to it whenever he needed time to himself. It was a place high in the mountains where he felt free, and it is in this very same place that he was later laid to rest.
Enjoy breathtaking views and the natural beauty of the tranquil Jamaican countryside. You'll have opportunity to view more than 200 species of flowering plants and indigenous trees.
On arrival, you will experience the pleasant, friendly "vibes" that influenced Bob Marley to write lyrics for songs such as "One Love" and "Three Little Birds".
Then, you will be introduced to a community that helped influence one of the greatest musicians of 20th century and it will leave you with a better understanding of a young man, whose vision helped to change the thoughts of people worldwide.
This was no small achievement for a man who often spoke of his respect for the simple ways of rural life. Respect that helped to guide his life, which was instilled during his youthful days in the small mountain village that locals still call Nine Mile.
