In Juneau enjoy the City & Mendenhall Glacier tour where your journey begins as you wind your way through the city's streets while our local guide points out the highlights and folklore that has made Juneau famous.
After a short 20 minute ride out of town you will experience nature at its best by visiting famed Mendenhall Glacier.
Come "face to face" with this mammoth "river of ice" at the Visitor's Center or take a nature walk on the maintained trail.
The excursion also includes a countryside journey near Auke Lake and Chapel before returning back to the city; visiting specific sights and historic buildings.
In season a stop may also be made to witness the spectacular sight of salmon as they head upstream to spawn and die completing the cycle of life. A must see for every cruise visitor!
While in Ketchikan, the City & Saxman Village tour takes you through Alaska's busiest waterfront highlighting Ketchikan's Stair Streets, Creek Street, the former historical red light district and Salmon Ladder and Falls, where salmon leap and struggle against the current to reach their birthplace.
No visit to Alaska would be complete without an opportunity of witnessing the historic totems of the native Indians, the Tlingit and Haidas, which are located in one of Alaska's exclusive totem parks.
Upon arrival in Skagway your tour, The Great Frontier, will take in on a fully narrated journey beginning with historic downtown Skagway. Then on to the Gold Rush Cemetery for a visit to our famous outlaw, Soapy Smith and hear tales of early pioneers.
Continue on the Klondike Highway enjoying spectacular views of the railroad as well as historical overlooks. Upon cresting the summit, we pass into the "moonscape" of the "Tormented Valley" with its crystal blue Summit Lake (PASSPORT REQUIRED).
Your return trip takes you to the Skagway overlook, which offers a panoramic view of the town, harbor and cruise ships.

This tour is perfect if your ship's itinerary includes Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway. Juneau City tour offers afternoon departure at 3:30pm. The Skagway portion of this combination tour crosses an international border, requiring specific personal documentation. All particpants are required to carry a valid passport.
