Tierra Del Fuego
This tour allows participants the opportunity to experience the unique scenery of Tierra del Fuego Island with its lakes, rivers, and vegetation and peat bogs.
After a 10-mile drive West of Ushuaia and across the valley from the Pipo River, you'll arrive at Tierra del Fuego National Park. This 150,000-acre park extends from the Beagle Channel in the south along the Chilean border to Lago Fagnano in the north. Sections of the forest were damaged by fire long ago and today appear almost ghost-like with their stark pale grey trunks standing in contrast to the backdrop of lush green vegetation. Photo opportunities include Panoramic Point, Lake Roca and Lapataia Bay.
Tour concludes at Pier.
Lunch option available at additional cost. Add one extra hour to tour duration for lunch.
We recommend that guests wear comfortable walking shoes, long pants, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and bring a jacket.
Please note that roads on the tour can be very bumpy at times.
