Get ready for an intimate boating adventure through Lynn Canal, North America’s longest and deepest fjord! We will get extra-close to the shore while exploring hidden coves, waterfalls, beaches and abundant wildlife on this fun-filled, two-hour sightseeing tour. Your knowledgeable captains will make multiple stops for photo opportunities and wildlife sightings, while providing a colorful narrative throughout the tour. Keep your eyes open for whales, eagles, seals, sea lions, mountain goats and sea birds as we explore the rugged wilderness of this majestic fjord. On occasion the captain will turn the engines off, allowing you to soak in the sights, sounds and smells of this pristine Alaska wilderness. Climb aboard the same type of boat used by U.S. Navy Seals and Coast Guard rescue teams. With its deep V hull surrounded by inflatable tubes this boat is designed to deliver a comfortable ride in any ocean condition. We will provide you with a comfortable exposure suit, which you will wear over your own clothing, will keep you warm and dry throughout your journey. You will also be provided with goggles, gloves, and hats if you would like to wear them. You will straddle our custom shock-absorbing seats as we race by the steep rock walls of this spectacular fjord. This adrenaline-packed excursion covers more of Alaska’s rugged wilderness in less time, allowing you to spend the rest of your day exploring the historic gold rush town of Skagway. This tour does not operate on Thursdays.

Remember to bring your camera. Guests must be able to walk on their own and must not be bound to a wheelchair. The weight limit is 285 pounds. We do not allow pregnant women or guests with neck or back injuries.

Redemption and Voucher Details

  1. After you complete your booking, your credit card will be charged and our expert Shore Excursion Concierge agents will 'hand'-review your shore excursion selections against your cruise itinerary to confirm compatibility. Your credit card statement will list the merchant for the charges as Port Promo Cruise Tours.
  2. You will receive an email within 72 hours of booking from myexcursions@portpromotions.com which confirms your booking and contains the vouchers required for your shore excursions. Please print these vouchers and bring them with you on your cruise. You will be required to turn the voucher(s) in to the corresponding shore excursion supplier(s). The vouchers feature information regarding how to meet up with the tour leader upon arrival to a port and other important details.
