The Total Boston Experience, Old and New

On the Boston Total Experience, we've combined the best of old and new Boston with a journey into the historic countryside towns of Cambridge, Lexington, and Concord. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Cambridge, Lexington, and Concord, Massachusetts. This tour shows you some of the most memorable landmarks in Boston, Cambridge, Lexington, and Concord.

Stand on Lexington Green, where Captain Jonathan Parker and 77 Minutemen stood their ground against 700 of England's finest regulars. In Concord, journey past the homes of Hawthorne, Alcott and Emerson as we make our way to the Old North Bridge where "...the embattled farmers stood and fired the shot heard 'round the world." Visit Harvard Yard, view Cambridge Common where Washington took control of the Continental Army; drive along "Tory Row," past the home of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
Includes stops at Harvard Yard, Lexington Green and North Bridge - You'll tour to these historic locations.

Learn about Paul Revere and view the "Battle Trail" where the minutemen fought for their freedom. There's a stop at Harvard Square in Cambridge. Follow the route of Paul Revere as he warned the countryside, "the British are coming!" On your return to Boston visit the famed Quincy Market, a two-story marketplace built out of New England granite. The indoor pavilion has over 100 shops, an abundance of eating establishments, and delightful street performers that stroll through the area. Here, enjoy lunch on your own and time for independent sightseeing.

Refreshed, re-board the motor coach and continue your scenic tour past patriotic highlights culminating at the Old North Church. Relive Paul Revere's midnight ride and learn the history of this epic event of the American Revolution. It is on this very spot that Paul Revere ordered two lanterns hung in the steeple to signal how the British redcoats were on the move: "One if by land, two if by sea." Look up and you can see the lanterns proudly displayed in the church's tower.
