This part of “The golden route” will take you from sea level in Geiranger, past the little village and on up to a stop at the famous viewpoint Flydalsjuvet. From there your trip continues up to Mount Dalsnibba at 1500 m above sea level and you will be able to enjoy a majestic view back over the Geirangerfjord.

Flydalsjuvet: One of Norway’s most photographed viewpoints! From the top of an 80m deep canyon is the famous view back to Geirangerfjord and the cruise ships below.

Dalsnibba: An easily accessed high mountain experience, one of the highest peaks you can experience by car in Norway. An incredible viewpoint to the surrounding mountains and the fjord in the distance. During the 45 min drive you will experience rich flora and fauna, ice blue lakes, geology, glaciers and the incredible peak itself.
