See the city's scenic highlights on our narrated drive through Dublin.

Pass the city's major sights, such as St. Stephen's Green, O'Connell Street, and the city's Georgian District, including Merrion Square, the River Liffey and the Customs House.

Visit St Patrick's Cathedral, founded in 1190, which stands on the spot where St. Patrick supposedly made his first Irish converts to Christianity in the 5th century.

The cathedral was damaged during Cromwell's invasion of Ireland in the 17th century; the Guinness family of brewery fame restored the structure in the 19th century. Jonathan Swift, author of Gulliver's Travels, was dean of St. Patrick's and is buried here.

View the fine, gray stone buildings of Ireland's oldest university, Trinity College. Distinguished alumni include Jonathan Swift, Oscar Wilde and Nobel Prize winner Samuel Beckett.

Tips

Be sure to bring your camera. At the end of your tour, you may opt to stay in Dublin for independent sightseeing, morning departures only; however, you are then responsible for your own return transportation to the ship. Excursions listed for a port may not be available for every cruise.

Redemption and Voucher Details

  1. After you complete your booking, your credit card will be charged and our expert Shore Excursion Concierge agents will 'hand'-review your shore excursion selections against your cruise itinerary to confirm compatibility. Your credit card statement will list the merchant for the charges as Port Promo Cruise Tours.
  2. You will receive an email within 72 hours of booking from myexcursions@portpromotions.com which confirms your booking and contains the vouchers required for your shore excursions. Please print these vouchers and bring them with you on your cruise. You will be required to turn the voucher(s) in to the corresponding shore excursion supplier(s). The vouchers feature information regarding how to meet up with the tour leader upon arrival to a port and other important details.
