During your tour of Paris, you will drive along the elegant, tree-lined Champs-Elysees and past the Arc de Triomphe, viewing several perspectives of the Eiffel Tower.
Your tour passes the Place de Opera and the Pont Neuf - Paris ancient "New Bridge" on your way to the Ile de la Cite.
The foundations for the Cathedral of Notre Dame were laid in 1163. This supreme example of Gothic architecture boasts a facade divided into three levels.
The first level features three portals or main entrances, each adorned with intricately carved figures and biblical scenes. The cathedral�s last great rose window, located above the Galerie des Rois, anchors the facades second level; the cathedral's soaring towers form the third level.
Notre Dame's interior, colored by light from the stained glass windows, inspires awe.

The Eiffel Tower, detested by all Paris upon its completion for the Exposition of 1889, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Revolution, the tower was nearly razed in 1909 but was saved by the development of wireless radio. The first wireless telephones were tested on the tower in 1916.
Today, the Eiffel Tower is a beloved landmark.
Flowers and chestnut trees surround this beautiful square, Place de la Concorde, the scene of execution for thousands who perished during the terror of the French Revolution. Marie Antoinette and more than 1,000 other Frenchmen met their fate at the guillotine.
