Two Day Overnight Egypt

Day 01:
You will be picked up from your cruise ship by you tour leader along with your Academic English tour guide. Your overnight journey begins with your trip to Cairo to visit the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body, which dates back to the time of Chephren; the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with Egyptian tasty food as well as International cuisine. Then move to visit the Step Pyramids of Zoser, the world's oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser. You will then transfer to your hotel for check in with free welcome drink. That evening you will be picked up from your hotel to enjoy a dinner cruise on the Nile with belly dancer and a folklore show for two hours in the Nile then return to the hotel for your overnight stay.
Day 02:
Breakfast at your hotel before being accompanied by your English speaking guide and the driver to the Egyptian Museum which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which are considered the largest, most precious collection of Egyptian artifacts in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen’s collection of treasures, gold and jewelry which were enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before its discovery in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated. Lunch at a local restaurant before proceeding to Saladin Citadel, Alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali which was designed by the architect Yousif Boushnaq, a Turkish man who came especially from Istanbul to build this great mosque for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849) who ruled Egypt over 45 years. Then proceed to Khan El Khalili Bazaar and open market, one of the most famous and oldest bazaars in the Middle East. After that travel back to your cruise ship.
It is important you are on time for tour departure as this tour is a part of a secure convoy of vehicles which depart the pier together.
