Your journey begins on the scenic coastal drive to Dyea Valley, once an old gold rush settlement now returned to nature. Get ready for a day of relaxation combined with fascinating history and magnificent beauty as you float gently down the Taiya River on your professionally equipped raft for approximately forty five minutes on the river.

This tour does operator in rainy weather so please dress in layers for your comfort. Additional rain poncho's and rubber boots (in place of your shoes) are provided for the raft portion of this tour.

You will be on the river for approximately 45 minutes. There is no whitewater on this float trip. All participants must sign a visitors acknowledgment of risk before participating in this tour. Children under 18 will be required to have a parent or legal guardian sign this form

Redemption and Voucher Details

  2. You will receive an email within 72 hours of booking from myexcursions@portpromotions.com which confirms your booking and contains the vouchers required for your shore excursions. Please print these vouchers and bring them with you on your cruise. You will be required to turn the voucher(s) in to the corresponding shore excursion supplier(s). The vouchers feature information regarding how to meet up with the tour leader upon arrival to a port and other important details.
