Enjoy the dog sled ride of a lifetime! Miles of pristine wilderness, crystal lakes, waterfalls and glaciers (weather permitting); your all day Yukon adventure begins as you follow the 1898 Gold Rush Trail over the summit into Canada's legendary Yukon by mini- coach leaving behind the coastal rainforest and enter the sub artic alpine tundra of the "Tormented Valley" - a virtual moonscape!

Additional, sites along the way include White Pass Trail of '98, the Fantail Trail, and Summit & Fraser Lakes followed by the boreal forest for Lakes Tutshi and Tagish. You'll also get a view of the historic silver mines of Conrad, Bove Island, the native village of Carcross and the Carcross Desert, affectionately known as the world's smallest.

Arriving in Carcross, even though the winter snows have melted you can still enjoy summer dog sledding on our custom wheeled training cart. Your twenty to twenty five minute ride will give you the thrill of being whisked along the trail through an area actually traveled by the Gold Rush Stampeders!! Hear the unique and exciting stories of winter dog mushing, carouse with the playful puppies and pet the sled dogs. Fun for all ages!

Redemption and Voucher Details

After you complete your booking, your credit card will be charged and our expert Shore Excursion Concierge agents will 'hand'-review your shore excursion selections against your cruise itinerary to confirm compatibility. Your credit card statement will list the merchant for the charges as Port Promo Cruise Tours.
  2. You will receive an email within 72 hours of booking from myexcursions@portpromotions.com which confirms your booking and contains the vouchers required for your shore excursions. Please print these vouchers and bring them with you on your cruise. You will be required to turn the voucher(s) in to the corresponding shore excursion supplier(s). The vouchers feature information regarding how to meet up with the tour leader upon arrival to a port and other important details.
