“Sylvia was an excellent tour guide for Tulum! This was the excursion I was most looking forward to on our cruise and it did not disappoint. We met Sylvia at the pier and took a water taxi over to Playa del Carmen. From there we took a bus ride to Tulum. During the drive Sylvia gave us information about Mayan history and the history of Tulum. My husband and I were the only ones on the tour so we were able to have a lot more interaction with Sylvia than we would have in a larger group. She led us through Tulum and told us about every structure we saw and she took us to the best places to see the entire ruins and to take photos! You are able to tour Tulum on your own but people actually stopped us and asked where we got our guided - having Sylvia with us was priceless! It was a great experience and having Sylvia for our guide greatly enhanced our trip. After leaving Tulum we had some time to shop around in Playa del Carmen and go to the beach before the return trip on the water taxi. I would highly recommend seeing Tulum and booking with the portpromotions.com!!”
