“Rafting down the Martha Brea was the perfectly relaxing experience for 2. No rapids here, just a leisurely trip down the river on a cushioned bamboo love seat. Captain Dennis did an awesome job of stopping to show us plants like the "shy lady" that folds up and hides when touched. The perfect combination of silent serenity, island education and a little soft serenade. All of the raft Captains carve and sell their own art from gords. Now that is a souvenier made in Jamacia for sure. Carving our names and the date to personalize it further---"No Problem"! Steven picked us up in Ocho Rios and drove us to the Martha Brea rafting site. If traveling from Ocho Rios it takes about 90 minutes which could have been a not so nice experience in a large tour group. There was just the 2 of us so what a treat. Along the way Steven provided information about Jamacia & the sites we passed. He waited for us to finish our rafting tour, gave us time to have a jelly coconut drink and stopped at Colombus Park for us to get pictures on the way back to the ship.Definately on the list to do again!”
