We booked the white water tubing, but the river was too high. They took us instead through the caves. The tubes were just car innertubes, but we thought it was fine. We liked our guide. It did take a long time to drive there, but since I hate shopping, we had nothing else to do anyway! I like seeing what the country side is actually like outside the shopping district. We saw a mother doing her laundry in a stream with her children, which was quite an eye-opener for our pampered children! No food or water was served, so bring some water with you.

Great tour! We were met by the pier and introduced to our tour guide. It was about a 45 minute drive to the cave tubing park. At the park there were restrooms, gift shops and snacks available for purchase. We were provided with bottled water by our tour guide Jenny. Then we were given a life jacket, helmet with headlight, and inner tube. We then began our rainforest trek. Be aware that you have to carry your gear for about a half hour until you reach the river where the cave tubing begins. It was a beautiful hike and our guides were giving us information along the way. We also crossed the river a few times so it cooled us down. Once you reach the river the guides help you into your tubes and you are connected to other people on your tour by clasps or with your feet. Our group had about 10 people and it was a very relaxing trip down the river through the caves on our tubes. Beautiful scenery all around us. Plenty of opportunities to take photos and our guide took a few group shots and individual shots for us. After the tour, we were treated to an authentic meal complete with rum punch and bottled soda. Excellent tour company and great guides! Highly recommend!!
