Shopping is minimal but the true Caribbean flavor of the island makes it an ideal island to participate in the Island Highlights for half of the day and go to the beach at Grand Anse later on. For the party animal the Rhum Runner is always a big hit and takes you to BBC Beach. Avoid some of the local boys who want to take you on a walking tour and always ask to see the vehicle if planning an independent outing with a driver.
