Shopping: Shopping is low key but the island’s best known products are the unique silk-screened and hand printed designs of Bagshaw Studios. A duty free market at Pointe Seraphine offers visitors excellent shopping opportunities for jewelry, china, crystal and watches. Must show boarding pass or cabin key to get duty free prices.
Port Facilities: Pointe Seraphine is located just a 10 minute walk from the downtown, however, there is little of interest in the center with the exception of a very colorful fruit/vegetable market.
Transportation: Driving is on the left and you would need to buy a temporary St. Lucian license. Taxis consist of vans that are unmetered, so one should agree on a price before setting off.
Beaches: All beaches are public, and can be very busy. Popular beaches for cruise visitors are located near the St. Lucian Hotel.
Points of Interest: Marigot Bay, Bagshaw Studios, the view from the St. Lucian Fragrance Factory, banana plantations and of course the world’s only "drive in" volcano located near Soufriere on the southern part of the island. The majestic Pitons are the "twin peaks" of St. Lucia. To make the trip to Soufriere will take app. 1 _ hours, each way. The helicopter excursion offers breathtaking views of the island and the most remote parts of the tropical rain forest.

CRUISE TO THE VOLCANO

Enjoy a coastal cruise down to Soufriere, where you will be met by our vans to take you up into the volcano’s crater. The Pitons, mineral baths and the botanical gardens. Lunch is included at a local restaurant.
