Grand Cayman Stingray City Snorkeling

Enjoy the fascination of snorkeling at Stingray City as described National Geographic magazine.

This type of excitement is normally reserved for experienced divers, but this specially designed excursion allows everyone to explore this one of a kind attraction.

Once at Safe Haven dock you will board the vessel for a 20 minute ride to your destination. You will be escorted into the shallow water (4-5 ft) by exclusive guides.

You will actually swim with these extraordinary creatures and watch them frolic with the guides.

In addition to your visit with the stingrays, a second stop will be made for you to snorkel in approximately eight to ten feet of water before returning to the dock.

Tips

The Boat is the "Reef Runner" and is a 45 foot vessel with shade, a restroom and fresh water to shower off after you snorkel. Space is limited. There is no age minimum. No lockers are available however there are changing rooms if needed. As general rule the tour can be combined with the island tour. You will be at stingray city for approximately 45 minutes and another 45 minutes at a coral reef. Children under 4 are not charged and do not require a ticket for this tour. Children 4 - 11 years old qualify for a child's ticket.

Departure Location

At the cruise ship pier. The specific meeting location at the pier will be listed in your confirmation email and voucher for this shore excursion. See the 'Redemption and Voucher Details' section below. Please note: you will tender to shore in Grand Cayman. If you have a morning tour departure time, please make arrangements with your ship for an early tender in order to arrive for your tour in time.

Redemption and Voucher Details

  1. After you complete your booking, your credit card will be charged and our expert Shore Excursion Concierge agents will 'hand'-review your shore excursion selections against your cruise itinerary to confirm compatibility. Your credit card statement will list the merchant for the charges as Port Promo Cruise Tours.
  2. You will receive an email within 72 hours of booking from myexcursions@portpromotions.com which confirms your booking and contains the vouchers required for your shore excursions. Please print these vouchers and bring them with you on your cruise. You will be required to turn the voucher(s) in to the corresponding shore excursion supplier(s). The vouchers feature information regarding how to meet up with the tour leader upon arrival to a port and other important details.
