This excursion takes you through a series of valleys on the island: Carvajal, Altos del Valle, Tierra Mayor and Las Cotorras.

From here you will go up to Garibaldi Pass, 450 meters above sea level, to where Lake Escondido is found. Garibaldi Pass crosses the Andes Mountains, which runs from the east to the west of the island - from the border with Chile to the Atlantic coast.

You will then begin your descent to Hosteria Petrel on the shores of Lake Escondido, where you will stop to admire the stunning surroundings.
