The tour begins with a drive north across the flat Patagonian countryside before entering the Peninsula Valdes Wildlife Sanctuary.

At the Visitors Center you will see an interesting exhibit of local flora and fauna including a whale exhibit.

The Valdes Peninsula resembles an island attached to the continent by a 25 mile long strip of land which, at some places, is only 4 miles wide.

Drive along a barren gravel road to Caleta Valdes, Punta Delgada or Punta Norte to visit the only continental habitat of sea elephants.

These sea elephants can weigh between one and three tons and measure up to 18 feet in length.

This tour operates for a minimum of 6 passengers.
