Your panoramic tour begins on Princes Street, Edinburgh's main thoroughfare and shopping district following approximately a 45-minute drive from South Queens ferry.
Continue around the city center with spectacular views of the Old Town and elegant New Town and pass Holyrood Palace, official residence to the Queen when she visits Edinburgh.
Sitting at the top of the city's Royal Mile, the Edinburgh Castle is a superb fortress complex that has dominated the city from its rocky mount for over a millennium.
Entering Crown Square, your tour guide will point out the various areas you may explore independently, including St. Margaret's Chapel, the Great Hall of James IV, and the Crown Jewels.
At the conclusion of your tour, the motorcoach will depart for South Queens ferry for your return to the ship.
You may opt to remain in Edinburgh for independent sightseeing and shopping, morning departures only; however, you are then responsible for your own return transportation to the ship.
