Chartered Salmon Fishing from Ketchikan

After boarding your boat, you'll sail out in fully equipped fishing boats ranging in size from 26 to 38 feet. The serene, cold waters off Ketchikan, known as the "Salmon Capital of the World",abound in five varieties of North Pacific salmon. Your experienced skipper knows where the fishing is at its best and everything you need will be provided.

Your catch may be processed into Frozen Fillets or Hot Smoked and vacuum sealed in plastic pouches and shipped to your home (US addresses only) or Canned Fresh or Smoked and Canned for shipment anywhere in the world. A credit card is required at the time of order and final billing will be shipped with order. We regret that fish cannot be stored on board the ship.

Bring appropriate outdoor clothing. An Alaska State one-day fishing license is required and may be purchased with cash on the charter boat for $ 20. During the King Salmon season, an additional King Salmon stamp is also required. No guarantees are made with respect to catching fish.

Tips

Alaska State fishing license ($ 20) and King Salmon stamp ($ 10) are required and may be purchased on board the charter boat with cash only. Our boat will fish up to six guests. Kids 5-16 do not need liecences Bring appropriate clothing. Your catch may be processed into Frozen Fillets or cold Smoked and vacuum sealed in plastic pouches and shipped to your home (US addresses only). A credit card is required at the time of order and final billing will be shipped with order. Cost runs approx. $ 8.00 a lb. finished product for fresh fish cleaning, filleting, vacuum-packing, flash freezing and shipped overnight express via FedEx.Smoked is about $ 4 more a lb. finished product. There is a minimum for processing of about $ 100 plus the cost of the box which is about $ 14. We regret that fish cannot be stored on board the ship.

Redemption and Voucher Details

  1. After you complete your booking, your credit card will be charged and our expert Shore Excursion Concierge agents will 'hand'-review your shore excursion selections against your cruise itinerary to confirm compatibility. Your credit card statement will list the merchant for the charges as Port Promo Cruise Tours.
  2. You will receive an email within 72 hours of booking from myexcursions@portpromotions.com which confirms your booking and contains the vouchers required for your shore excursions. Please print these vouchers and bring them with you on your cruise. You will be required to turn the voucher(s) in to the corresponding shore excursion supplier(s). The vouchers feature information regarding how to meet up with the tour leader upon arrival to a port and other important details.
